A well-known member of the local community has thrown his hat into the 2026 race for Los Angeles city controller, challenging incumbent controller Kenneth Mejia.
Zach Sokoloff, senior vice president, asset management for Hackman Capital Partners, which owns Television City, announced he has secured the endorsement of former L.A. City Controller Laura Chick, and added that he is looking forward to a vigorous campaign.
